ELCERAM – OXIDE – Competition Electronic speed controller (Touring, Buggy, Drifting)

OXIDE comes not to replace NITRIDE, but to take its place next to it as a new type of ESC developed especially for the stock and open stock category, but also suitable for other categories such as modified or drift. The dimensions and weight will be a bit lower, the same goes for the price compared with NITRIDE.

NITRIDE with its top performance and cooling system will stay as our flagship for highest requirements in modified category and OXIDE will be the choice especially for stock, open stock and other racers with requirements for compact size and weight while maintaining top performance.

So what is the difference between OXIDE and NITRIDE:

• OXIDE has a lower height of 6 mm – approx 25 % less than Nitride. No cooling fins, the backside absolutelly flat.
• OXIDE is supplied by 2S battery and based on Aluminium Oxide ceramic technology. Intended for 1/10th cars, offroad, touring, drift…
• Most of components are common with Nitride but the ceramic technology based on Aluminium Oxide instead of Aluminium Nitride is for us more simple. Less silver thickness reduced the current compare to Nitride about 20 % in resulting 145 Amps compared to 180 Amps by NITRIDE.
• The weight is 75 g with wires AWG14 180 mm – about 15 g less than Nitride. Center of gravity is all way down.
• The BEC is fine adjustable 6 – 7,4 V with very nice real-time graph after the race for diagnostic.
• The software has new functions like rpm limiter for drift cars or motor speed evaluation, etc.
